In the 2004 challenge FIRST Frenzy Raising the Bar, the bot needed to climb stairs, place balls into goals, and lift itself off the ground by hanging from a bar for bonus points at the end. Our robot was very successful at this complex task and won the Leadership in Controls award for its innovative autonomous “learn-mode.”
We also won the Regional Chairman's Award at the Pacific Northwest Regional for our combination of team spirit, gracious professionalism, and engineering skill. This allowed the team to go on the the international competition in Atlanta Georgia.
