2005 - PHRED IV
Tetrabot Pacific Northwest Regional (2005)
The 2005 game Triple Play, remembered as "the Tetra game" by those who competed in it, was about moving tetrahedron-shaped pieces into or onto larger tetrahedral goals. We still have one of the goals and some pieces of tetras in the shop. PHRED's 2005 creation, officially known as PHRED IV but always called Tetrabot, had a hook at the end of its arm to carry Tetras.
The picture above is of PHRED IV during its Autonomous mode. You can see the string that lifted the second section of the arm, and the hook compactly stored just beneath the decorative "driver".
